Traditional Children’s Party

Traditional party with games, music and prizes to suit the age of the child.

Our party entertainer will contact you in advance to discuss your choice (or you can leave it up to us). We are happy to include any of your child’s favourites - some of our favourites include: Musical Bumps, Pin The Tail on the Donkey, Apple Bobbin, Donut Catching, Musical Chairs, Oranges and Lemons, Lazy Lions, Musical Statues, Memory Game, Hide and Seek, Pass the Parcel, Treasure Hunt, Duck Duck Goose, Farmers in the Den, What’s the time Mr Wolf, Musical Islands, Balloon race, Simon Says, Balloon Stomp, Chinese Whispers, Balloon Seize and many more old favourites.

Your entertainer will bring:

Make a Musical Instrument

Be creative, making a musical instrument that actually works and can play music!

This is a great fun crafty activity for all ages. Using recycled card and paper, eco-friendly glue and eco-friendly, non-toxic paints and materials. Organic beans, rice and pulses can be used inside the instrument to make the different sounds.

Children will be able to choose their favourite instrument: a maraca, stringy guitar, tambourine, rain shaker, drums or chimes. This a party is great for showing children how to have great fun by using and recycling every day objects.

Your entertainer will bring:

Happy Hands - Messy Painting Fun

All children love to get stuck in and enjoy getting really messy when it comes to painting so they love our finger painting parties!

Your entertainer will place large sheets of recycled paper onto tables, floors or even the garden path and show children how to make animals, insects, monsters, people, houses (or a theme of your choice) using finger painting. Eco-friendly felt tip pens will be supplied for children that want to add finer details.

Children will work together using 100% eco-friendly, non-toxic and non-allergenic paints (good for even the youngest most sensitive hands) to make a large pieces of artwork that they can take home with them.

In summer months the activity can be kept outside and we can even produce foot painting!

Silly Sock Puppets

Your party entertainer will show the children how to make a fun character from a recycled glove or sock. Children will be able to let their imaginations run wild and use a range of eco-friendly materials such as recycled felt, ribbons, wool, fabric, buttons, beads and eco-friendly fabric glue to create hair, hats, beards, moustaches, glasses, ties, scarfs, eyes, mouths and noses for their puppet.

Older children may also enjoy putting on an after-party puppet show!

Vegetable Stamping

Your entertainer will supply a range of pre-cut large organic vegetables and will show children how to create artwork by dipping using eco-friendly, non-toxic, non-allergenic poster paints.

Younger children enjoy producing collages and can also incorporate natural materials such as leaves, flowers, twigs etc.

Older children can produce diary and notebook covers, calendars, etc.

Teddy Bears Picnic

Old fashioned party games with a difference (for children and their teddies)

Traditional party games, with lots of music and prizes, tailored to younger children - up to 8 years old.

All games involve children and their teddy bears and are animal themed from zoo animals, farm animals or even wild animals from the jungle. Games are fun and energetic. Prizes for party games all meet our ethical criteria and are wrapped in recycled paper.

Party Descriptions

All parties can be held indoors or outdoors, depending on your preferences & the weather.

If you have any special requests please don’t hesitate to let us know!

All Eco-bugs parties include:

· A fully-trained children’s entertainer

· Protective cloths, etc. for covering your furniture & floor (if necessary)

· Party materials / games for twelve children (additional materials can be provided for more children upon request)

· Music

· Clean-away service (your home will be left as we find it)

Parties do not include

· Food. We can work with you to find a suitable caterer if needed.

· Supervision. The Eco-bugs entertainer is there to entertain only and will not be responsible for managing children’s behaviour or health and safety. Please ensure you have enough adults present to supervise the children.

· Protective clothing for messy games. If you are having a messy party please ask all the children to come in suitable clothing.

Sow it-Grow it-Eat it

Gardening Party

Children love gardening - your party entertainer will them help them sow and grow their own organic vegetables in small biodegradable pots.

Following the party, each child will take their pot away with them and enjoy watching the seeds sprout after 3-7 days and then grow into edible produce - a happy reminder of your child’s birthday party.

Making gardening a fun activity for children encourages them to try new things and experiment with the outdoor world and gardening. All pots can be hand painted or decorated by children following the party.
